This Privacy Policy explains how Expense Tracker ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App.
The App lets you record expenses, categories, budgets, and a preferred currency. This information is entered directly by you and is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). It is not uploaded to our servers, because we don't operate any.
If you use Siri, the Shortcuts app, or Back Tap to log an expense, that action is handled by Apple's App Intents framework and writes to the same on-device storage the App uses. This data does not leave your device as part of that process.
You may export your expenses as a CSV file using the system share sheet. Where that file is sent โ Mail, Files, Messages, a cloud drive, etc. โ is entirely your choice, and we have no visibility into or access to it.
Expense Tracker Pro is offered as an in-app purchase/subscription, processed by Apple and managed on our behalf by RevenueCat. To validate and manage purchases, RevenueCat may process:
This information is used only to unlock Pro features and is not linked to your expense data. See RevenueCat's own privacy policy for details on how they process this data.
Your expenses, categories, and budgets remain on your device until you delete them in the App or delete the App itself, which removes all locally stored data. Since we don't hold a copy of your data on any server, we're unable to retrieve or delete it on your behalf after that point.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. The "Effective date" above will be updated whenever changes are made.
