Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Expense Tracker ("the App"), provided by its developer ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) and the App Store Terms of Service.

2. Your Data

Expense, budget, and category data you create in the App is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for your data, including keeping your own backups (for example, via CSV export). We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from device loss, damage, deletion of the App, or operating system issues.

3. Subscriptions (Expense Tracker Pro)

Certain features are available only through an auto-renewable subscription or one-time purchase ("Expense Tracker Pro"), billed through your Apple ID account.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings; the App itself has no ability to cancel it for you.
• Purchases are processed by Apple and facilitated by RevenueCat; refunds are subject to Apple's App Store refund policies, not ours.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by law; use the App for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with the App's normal operation.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The App is a tool to help you track personal spending; we do not guarantee the accuracy of any calculations, analytics, or currency conversions, and the App is not a substitute for professional financial or tax advice.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

7. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent superseded by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
