This Privacy Policy explains what information Audio Editor Pro: Music Editor ("Audio Editor Pro," "the App," "we," "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
The App has no account system, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. We do not collect your name, contact list, photos, or location. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
Recordings, imported files, exported files, projects, and waveform data are stored locally in the App's private storage area on your device. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party by the App. If you use the Files app, AirDrop, or a share sheet to export or send a file, that transfer is controlled by you and by Apple's system frameworks, not by us.
The App requests microphone access only when you tap Record, so you can capture audio directly into a project. Microphone access is never requested at launch or during onboarding, and recorded audio is processed and stored only on your device. You can review or revoke this permission anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.
Audio Editor Pro offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions and a lifetime unlock, processed entirely through Apple's App Store (StoreKit) using your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details — Apple handles all billing. Current pricing is listed in our Terms of Use and in the App itself.
To manage entitlements (i.e., confirm what you've purchased and unlock Pro features), the App uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives:
RevenueCat acts as our data processor for this purpose and does not use this data for advertising. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details. Apple's handling of your payment and account data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you choose to submit a crash report or diagnostic through iOS's built-in "Share With App Developers" setting, that data is provided to us via Apple in aggregate, anonymized form — we do not operate our own crash-reporting or analytics service.
Because your audio and project data live only on your device, deleting the App deletes that data. To remove RevenueCat's anonymous purchase record associated with your device, contact us using the details below and we will submit a deletion request on your behalf.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will address it.
Your files are protected by iOS's standard app-sandboxing and on-device encryption. Purchase data sent to Apple and RevenueCat is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data associated with your purchases. Since we hold no server-side account data ourselves, most requests are fulfilled by deleting the App (for local data) or contacting us so we can relay a deletion request to RevenueCat (for anonymous purchase records).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
