This Privacy Policy explains what information Audio Editor ("Audio Editor," "the App," "we," "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
The App has no account system, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. We do not collect your name, contact list, photos, or location. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
Recordings, imported files, exported files, projects, and waveform data are stored locally in the App's private storage area on your device. They are not transmitted to us or to any third party by the App.
If you use the Files app, AirDrop, or a share sheet to export or send a file, that transfer is initiated and controlled by you through Apple's system frameworks.
The App requests microphone access only when you tap Record, allowing you to capture audio directly into a project.
Microphone access is not requested at launch or during onboarding. Recorded audio is processed and stored only on your device.
You can review or revoke this permission anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.
The App offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions and/or lifetime purchases through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes all payments, and we do not receive or store your payment card details.
To manage subscription entitlements and purchases, the App uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management service.

The App does not operate its own third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
If you voluntarily share diagnostics through Apple's system tools, Apple may provide diagnostic information to developers according to Apple's policies and your device settings.
Your audio recordings and project files are stored locally on your device. Deleting the App removes locally stored App data, subject to Apple's normal device backup behavior.

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Local files are protected by Apple's standard app sandbox and device security mechanisms. Information transmitted to Apple or RevenueCat for purchase and subscription management is transmitted using encrypted connections.
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal information associated with your purchases or use of the App.
Because the App does not maintain a user account or cloud storage system, most audio and project data remains under your control on your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
