Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and the developer of BypassGPT ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the BypassGPT mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

BypassGPT provides AI-assisted writing tools, including text humanization, AI-content detection, translation, and an AI chat assistant. Some features require an active BypassGPT Premium subscription or one-time Lifetime purchase.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission and they should review these Terms with you.

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with the App Store's usage rules.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

• BypassGPT Premium is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly) and/or a one-time Lifetime unlock, billed through your Apple ID account.
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same duration and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase the associated subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions — we cannot directly issue refunds for App Store purchases.

5. AI-Generated Content — Please Read Carefully

The App's Humanize, AI Detector, Translator, and AI Chat features are powered by third-party artificial intelligence models. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate. Always review output before relying on or sharing it.
• AI Detector results are estimates, not certainties. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any AI-detection score, nor that content processed by Humanize will be undetectable by any particular AI-detection tool, now or in the future.
• You are solely responsible for how you use any output from the App, including compliance with any academic integrity policy, employer policy, publishing standard, or law that applies to you. We do not condone using the App to misrepresent authorship in violation of an institution's academic honesty policy or any applicable law.
• Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that you do not have the right to submit. Do not use the App to generate content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or that violates the rights of others.
• Text you submit to AI features is sent to our third-party AI provider to generate a response, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential information.

6. Your Content

You retain all rights to the text, images, and other content you input into the App ("Your Content") and to the output generated for you, to the extent permitted by the terms of the underlying AI provider. We do not claim ownership of Your Content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to submit Your Content and to use any resulting output.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law;
• Use automated means (bots, scripts) to abuse the App's AI features or circumvent usage limits;
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the App or its output without our written permission;
• Use the App to generate spam, malware, or content intended to deceive or harm others.

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services, including an AI language model provider, RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple's App Store (payments and distribution). Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable terms of these providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON ANY AI-GENERATED OUTPUT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device; this does not automatically cancel an active subscription (see Section 4).

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

14. Apple-Required Terms

Because the App is distributed via Apple's App Store, the following additional terms apply and take precedence over any conflicting term above with respect to Apple:

• These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• The license granted to you is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules.
• Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App.
• In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of it infringes a third party's intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
